Crazy About Coral

2 July 2013

I've recently been lusting after all things coral. It's THE shade of my summer so lucky for me there are loads of gorgeous coral nail colours out there to choose from. I'm a huge fan of Rimmel 60 Seconds Nail polish so when I saw them for just 99p on the Fragrance Direct website, I snapped up these two coral colours straight away and couldn't wait to try them out.

First I tried Coralicious, the brighter colour of the two. The shade has is more of a deep pink tone but is fab is you're looking for a more vibrant colour on your nails. Instyle Coral is currently gracing my nails and I'm loving it too. This one is more orange toned and is a little more subtle but still gives an amazing pop of colour. I loved both shades and think they'd look great with a tan.

As for the formula, I'm almost-but-not-totally sold on it. I applied two thickish coats but think it could benefit from another to be completely opaque. I'm far too busy {and lazy} to be doing three coats but luckily it does dry in 60 seconds! The wearability is great and I didn't get a single chip for three whole days and only had very minimal tip wear. Another thing I love is the brush. I'm not sure it lives up to the claim of '1 second' application but it's one of those short, stubby brushes that makes the polish glide on really easily.

I imagine these two will be gracing my nails on a regular basis over the summer months. I might even try wearing them both at the same time on alternate nails!
